John J. Slattery Associates, Inc. (JJSA, Inc.) was established in 1979 by John (Jack) Slattery. In the early years, the Agency served as a General Agent for various medical carriers, including Connecticut National and EGIS. In 1987, JJSA, Inc. was appointed as one of the first Master Brokers with Horizon BCBSNJ, soon to become one of their leading Master Brokers.
Jack was soon joined in the Agency by daughter, Deirdre Slattery Fallon, Vice President of JJSA, Inc., and son, Desmond X. Slattery, President of JJSA, Inc.
Over the years, the Agency has grown and established relationships with both numerous carriers and other General Agency affiliates which has allowed us to acquire access to many products in the Group Insurance marketplace of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
Today, JJSA, Inc. is pleased to be able to offer our 400+ brokers Group Medical Insurance from a variety of carriers, as well as ancillary products (group dental, group life, group LTD, group vision). In addition to group programs we offer Individual Medical and Medicare products.
In addition to our product lines, JJSA, Inc. is proud to have a fully staffed office of experienced, licensed professionals who are here to provide our valued brokers with the service and support they need to serve their clients. The Slattery School of Insurance, headed up by Frank Ruggiero, LUTCF, RHU, REBC, CSA LTCIS, CAC, PhD., offers a variety of CE (Continuing Education) courses, as well as expert advice on the ever expanding HRA / HSA marketplace.
